Are they poems or lyrics?

They're both. The Rock Daddy Rock project started as a series of poems with the goal of publishing a children's picture book. However, songs just "popped" out of my head and I couldn't stop myself from recording them.

The picture book is in the planning stages. It will be filled with all of the poems (or lyrics) from the music CD along with illustrations by a variety of artists. The quest for the right book publisher began in April 2008.
