Vulturoid is music from Chris Bihuniak, an ASCAP award-winning artist. The shorter-than-normal alternative rock songs were all written, recorded and produced by Chris.
Lyrics are reactions to issues of the day that are sometimes serious or written with a sense of humor.
Song arrangements are fairly simple with guitar, bass, drum samples, occasional synthesizers and vocals.
The name "Vulturoid" combines vulture and asteroid and was concocted after seeing black vultures flying around
the historic area of Panama City, Panama. While relaxing in a rooftop pool, an actual vulture landed near Chris and gave him a nice long stare. It was a sign.
SECOND ALBUM
The Second Vulturoid album was released in November 2025. Most of the lyrics were conceived in the USA, but all of the music was written and recorded in a closet in Panama City, Panama. Many of the songs were inspired by
news headlines mixed with satire and mockery. Some people will be offended and some people will applaud, hopefully.
FIRST ALBUM
The First Vulturoid album was released in September of 2025. After turning off the news for several years, Chris decided to get informed about world issues when the possibilities of Donald Trump getting re-elected became a reality.
"Orange Man Blues" and "It's A Disgrace" was Chris's creative result. Chris had also written and performed "Sweet Priscilla" with another band. The other songs were written and recorded in Kansas City, Missouri, USA.
